The Unfolding – Themes & Variations
The Unfolding (2018) is an audiovisual projected installation for darkened space. It provides a space for inner contemplation by combining abstract imagery and sounds in an environment that encourages silence and arrest.
The Unfolding – Themes & Variations is based on recordings made for the installation piece. They have been developed further to function on their own, untethered from the projected imagery. The purpose remains the same: to create new spaces and events in the mind of the listener.

01 is based on the soundtrack for the installation shown at Galleria Uusi Kipinä, Lahti, Finland, June–July 2019. Recorded May 2019.
02 – 04 are outtakes from various recording sessions for The Unfolding, 2017-2019.
05 is based on the soundtrack for the installation shown at Kuusisto Art Manor, Kaarina, Finland, July 2018. Recorded April/May 2018.
Audio is based on field recordings from various locations and occurences, studio experiments, TH€€€F sampling technologies and secret ingredients. Conceived and constructed by Niko Skorpio. Final mix and mastering November 2019.
