I may suffer from a fear of loose threads in the fabric of life. To me, creative work equals — or to be honest, surpasses — in importance the traditional “work of creation” ie. reproduction. I feel like the music, paintings etc. are my children in a way. As the change of the calendar is at hand, I’ll briefly note that the year 2009 for me has been challenging, illuminating, rewarding, refreshing… and most of this in a rather unexpected or unusual account. Various changes occured, mostly on the level of ideas, habits and attitudes, which is always good. Never let a skin grow too old on you. I’m currently doing background research on topics related to a project I was invited to participate in – topics that reside somewhat far and firmly in the so-called foil hat territory. Suits me fine, and actually further feeds my interest; such a territory is merely a grey area mostly defined as anything that won’t fit the canon of consensus reality. And Consensus Reality, anyway, is a sphincter too tight and rigid to match the Universe as I’ve come to experience it for as long as I can remember. In other words – you think you’ll travel far away and then suddenly arrive to a destination just a block away from home.
