On June 23, me & Ovro travelled to Helsinki (or Espoo as a matter of fact) to participate in the eighth installment of the Placard headphone festival. We played a set together as Haeretici 7o74 (ie. the duo previously known as Skorp-i-Ovro…). The theme was Resetting the Sun, suitably for a post-Solstice moment like this. [...]

Reptiljan is a manic burst of noise, hectic rhythms and splintered guitars, making the listener squirm, laugh uncontrollably and see lizards on the walls. Reptiljan combines the blast-beats of grindcore and the broken rhythms of drill’n’bass / breakcore, samples in everything from 1980’s heavy metal to modern hip-hop and lets in a good dose of abrasive noise and distortion.
